Easter Epic 2016

Taking place on Easter Sunday – 27th March 2016, based around Worcestershire, and featuring many ups and downs. Two routes are available, the Epic at 133km (1,627m of climbing) or the Mini Epic at 82km (970m of climbing), both featuring the best Worcestershire has to offer, including several 20% (and steeper) climbs
Two fully stocked feed stations will be on offer along the route at Malvern (36km) and Heightington (Epic route only, 95km). There will also be a coffee cart at the top of Ankerdine Hill serving coffee for that all important caffeine hit
Parking, toilets, hot & cold food and drinks all on site at the event base, the excellent Top Barn Activity Centre. A small parking charge of £2 will be made, so please car share if possible.
The event is organised by Just Ride, specialists in event management.
There are medals for all finishers, along with a Creme Egg.
Directions
From the start at Holt Heath, the route heads south through Lower Broadheath, Knightwick, Malvern, Colwall, Bromyard, Knightwick (again), then north towards the outskirts of Bewdley and Stourport. The Mini Epic misses the tough, steep climbs near Bewdley.

The event supports St Richard’s Hospice, who provide free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. The hospice is based in Worcester, and we are donating a percentage of all entry fees directly to the charity.
