JustRide – Easter Epic Sportive
16 April, 2017
Back for a fourth year, The Easter Epic Sportive.
With 2 distances available at 82km and 125km, this road sportive might not be the longest in terms of distance, but with plenty of ascent, it certainly offers a challenge to any seasoned riders, and newcomers alike.
Following many of the roads covered in the Tour of Britain’s visits to the area, the figure of eight route takes in Lower Broadheath, Malvern, Bromyard and the outskirts of Bewdley and Stourport. Featuring the wellknown climbs of The Wyche and Ankerdine Hill as well as several 20% gradients including the fearsome Wynniates Way.
Three fully stocked feed stations will be on offer along the long route. Riders can start from 08:30 on the day
The event supports St Richard’s Hospice, who provide free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families.
£1 from all entry fees will be donated direct to charity. Participants may make additional voluntary contributions as desired on the on-line entry page.
In addition to finishers medals, event photography, rider timing etc, for this year we have added more benefits to further help you enjoy your sportive – see the “what you get” image below!
The is ample parking and refreshments are all on offer at the event base, the excellent University of Worcester Lakeside Campus, which has hosted numerous cycling, running and duathlon events in recent years.
Entry fee £35 until closing date.
Pulse Pursuits are the organisers behind the event, with over 20 years experience in event management.
