DESCRIPTION:The Lakeside Launcher Duathlon is the perfect way to start your duathlon season \nThe event takes place at The University of Worcester’s Lakeside Campus. \nFirst up\, a 4.5km (2 lap) run on grass takes you around the grounds and sports fields of the campus. \nNext up is a 24km undulating road cycle route\, taking you over to Martley and back via Lower Broadheath \nFinally a 2.2km run back at Lakeside Campus to finish off the legs ! \nFeaturing:\nFinishers medals for all\nRace timing\nCategory prizes on offer including real ale from sponsor Teme Valley Brewery\nMedical support\nPublic Address and Commentary “shout-outs”\nFully signed and marshalled routes\nInsurance cover\nThis event is for over 16s only. \nENTER SOLO OR AS A RELAY PAIR (ONE RUNNER\, ONE CYCLIST) \nThe cafe at Lakeside Campus will be open for hot and cold food and drink throughout the duration of the event. \nRACE STARTS 09:30 \nREGISTRATION CLOSES 09:15 ON THE DAY \nLIMITED PLACES – 150 Competitors \nPLEASE NOTE – NO DOGS\, except assistance dogs\, are allowed on site at Lakeside Campus\, in accordance with the land owner’s rules \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION – The University of Worcester charge £5 per car to park at the event. Please bring correct change and car share where practical \nWITHDRAWAL POLICY – NO refunds will be issued UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You may however TRANSFER your entry ONCE to another Pulse event of equivalent or lower value . YOU MUST NOTIFY THE ORGANISER BEFORE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE.
